SUMMARY: We are seeking an enthusiastic, conscientious Dental Assistant who values high quality, compassionate patient care. This position weekly hours vary between 24-30 hours and work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays and half day 1 Friday a month. Our main office is in Le Sueur but all staff must be willing to travel and work in our Belle Plaine and Arlington satellite offices a few times a month.

Rate of pay: $32.00-$37.00 per hour DOE

QUALIFCATIONS:

· Licensed in the state of Minnesota is required

· Current CPR Certification is required

· Minimum of 1 year orthodontic experience required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary:

· Assist orthodontist during orthodontic procedures, including placing and removing brackets, archwires and bands.

· Take accurate records to include intra and extra oral photos, impressions and scans, and x-rays

· Prepare and maintain orthodontic instruments to include sterilization and disinfecting

· Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment

· Maintain accurate patient records, treatment charting and progress notes

· OSHA/Infection Control responsibilities

Secondary:

· Dental supply ordering

· Schedule patient appointments

· Managing patient recalls

· Other administrative duties as assigned
