I'm Dr. Asmara Qamar, dentist and owner of a small, patient-focused dental office. I'm looking for an organized individual to be trained as my dental assistant.

Dental assistants sterilize instruments, disinfect and clean rooms, seat and help the patient understand the procedure, take x-rays, and help the dentist during procedures by passing instruments and suctioning.

Dental assisting requires a patient and positive personality, time management skills, physical dexterity and stamina. Being comfortable with technology is very important. Solid attendance is a must, this is not a position where you can call out frequently.

You will received on-the-job training, and there is experienced staff ready to help you get up to speed. You will enjoy working in a modern office with a drama-free, organized and cohesive work environment, paid time off, paid holidays, 3 day weekends, free dental care, annual bonus, a retirement plan, and appreciative and tolerant patients. An increase in pay comes with obtaining radiology certification (paid by the office), and gaining skills, knowledge and aptitude at assisting.
