The Dental Assistant provides clinical support to facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care and maintain communication between dentists, patients and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience.

Summary:

As a Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of our dental team, providing essential support to dentists and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Your core skills in dental assisting, chairside assisting, and knowledge of dental terminology will be vital as you assist in various procedures. You will also uphold HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. With your understanding of anatomy and aseptic techniques, you will contribute to patient care and comfort. Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and record patient information
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

- C.D.A. preferred

- Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
