Caring Kids Pediatric Dentistry | Upland, CA

For the person who can see the whole office at once.

You notice when the schedule is technically full but somehow still not productive.

You can tell when a team member needs coaching, when a parent needs reassurance, and when a process is creating more work than it should.

You know that a great dental office does not run well by accident.

It takes strong people, clear expectations, organized systems, good communication, and a leader who can keep all of those pieces moving in the same direction.

We are looking for an experienced Dental Office Manager to lead Caring Kids Pediatric Dentistry in Upland.

This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys developing people, solving problems, improving systems, and building a practice that families trust and employees are proud to be part of.

You’ll Probably Love This Role If You…

Naturally look for solutions instead of waiting for instructions
Enjoy coaching people and helping them become stronger in their roles
Can hold someone accountable while still treating them with respect
Understand the difference between staying busy and running an efficient practice
Appreciate clear systems, strong follow-through, and knowing your numbers
Can make thoughtful decisions without needing approval for every small detail
Care about the patient experience from the first phone call through checkout
Believe leadership means creating ownership, not personally doing every job in the office
Like seeing a plan actually get implemented and sustained

What You’ll Lead

You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, including:

Hiring, onboarding, coaching, and team development
Staffing, scheduling, and patient flow
Production, collections, A/R, and key practice goals
Front-office systems and patient experience
Team accountability and performance management
Operational planning and process improvement
OSHA, HIPAA, HR, and office compliance
Communication between providers, team members, and leadership
Continued growth of the pediatric practice and future orthodontic opportunities

You will have support from regional leadership, but you will also have the autonomy to lead your office, make recommendations, solve problems, and move plans forward.

A Few Very Scientific Signs You May Be an Office Manager

You have reorganized a supply cabinet and felt immediate peace
You can spot an attendance pattern before anyone else realizes there is one
You have said, “Please document that,” more times than you can count
You know “I thought someone else was doing it” usually means it still needs to be done
You have looked at a schedule and thought, “This is going to be a problem” before the day even started
When someone says, “Do you have a minute?” you already know you probably do not, but somehow make one anyway

What We’re Looking For

Previous dental office management experience is required.

Pediatric dental experience is strongly preferred.

You should be comfortable with staffing, coaching, scheduling, insurance, collections, patient flow, difficult conversations, and making decisions in a busy office environment.

We are looking for someone who is organized, warm, direct, fair, consistent, and comfortable being accountable for results.

Why Caring Kids?

Pediatric dentistry is about more than teeth.

We get to help children build positive relationships with dental care, help parents feel confident in the decisions they are making, and create experiences that can shape how a child feels about the dentist for years.

Behind that experience is a strong team and a leader who makes sure the office has what it needs to succeed.

If you want a leadership role where you can develop people, improve systems, influence growth, and make a visible impact on the practice every day, we would love to meet you.
