We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation of the front office and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule and confirm appointments.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health information systems.
Handle phone inquiries, providing information about services and addressing patient concerns.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Utilize medical coding knowledge to assist with insurance claims and medical collections.
Ensure compliance with health information management standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Collaborate with dental staff to streamline office operations and improve patient flow.

Requirements

Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health record systems preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills related to dental administration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
