Overview
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in a growing dental office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
Perform routine laboratory tasks such as preparing dental materials and sterilizing instruments
Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy to assist in various dental procedures effectively.
Take radiographs

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Familiarity with general dentistry procedures and terminology
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work within a team environment while providing compassionate patient care.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
