Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. We are a 2 Dentist practice with 2 Hygienists and 2 assistants. As you can see, we are a small, well established practice that enjoys working with each other and helping people. We are replacing a hygienist who is moving, however. We work a 4 day week, Monday-Thursday one week and Tuesday-Friday the next. If you are looking for a work environment where you and your talents are greatly appreciated, give us a call.

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, utilizing appropriate techniques and tools.
Assess and document patients' medical histories, dental conditions, and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing and flossing techniques.
Assist in the management of medical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is preferred.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
Experience in infection control procedures within a dental office setting.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when needed.
Previous experience in a dental office is an advantage but not required.
