Position Overview:

As a Front Desk & Dental Assistant, you’ll play a key role in both office operations and patient care. The ideal candidate will come with experience in EITHER front desk or assisting, be eager to learn, have excellent communication skills, and be passionate about helping others.

Responsibilities:

Front Desk:

Greet patients warmly and professionally
Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
Manage patient intake, including updating records and processing insurance information
Maintain patient files, both physical and electronic
Process payments and handle billing inquiries
Assist with office inventory and supplies

Dental Assisting:

Assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., hand instruments, suctioning, patient positioning)
Prepare and sterilize dental equipment and instruments
Take X-rays
Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a dental office is a MUST. Possess skills either at front desk or assisting and want to learn the other. Or better yet, know BOTH!!
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills; familiarity with Dentrix is a plus
Knowledge of dental terminology
