Medina and Wooster Location-must be willing to travel. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday! We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires familiarity with dental terminology and dental office procedures, as well as strong communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage the reception area to create a welcoming environment.
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
Handle incoming calls with professionalism, addressing patient inquiries and concerns effectively.
Maintain accurate patient records by reviewing documentation and ensuring all information is up-to-date.
Process some insurance verification and assist patients with understanding their coverage options.
Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations.
File and organize patient records in accordance with privacy regulations and clinic policies.
Utilize Meditech or similar software for appointment scheduling and patient management.

Requirements

Previous experience in a dental office or dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with dental terminology and administrative procedures is helpful.
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff is essential.
Ability to perform documentation review accurately and maintain organized files.
Proficiency in using dental office software, including is advantageous.
A detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
