Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Chairside Orthodontics Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthodontic procedures, excellent patient care skills, and a passion for delivering top-quality service. This is a full-time position offering 32 to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Assist the orthodontist during various orthodontic procedures.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Take dental x-rays and intraoral scans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care.
Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a chairside orthodontic assistant.
Certification as an Orthodontic Assistant (COA) or equivalent.
Proficient in taking digital Cephalometric and panoramic x-rays.
Skilled in placing brackets, wires, and ties.
Experience with indirect bonding techniques.
High level of computer skills.
Proficiency with iTero intraoral scanner.
Strong understanding of orthodontic procedures and terminology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
CPR certification is a plus.
Experience working in a paperless office environment is preferred.
Experience working with Invisalign and other orthodontic aligners.
