Key Responsibilities

Office Leadership & Operations

Lead day-to-day operations of the dental practice to ensure efficiency and exceptional patient care.
Supervise, coach, and support front desk and administrative staff; foster a positive work culture.
Develop and improve office systems, protocols, and workflows.

Patient & Financial Management

Oversee patient scheduling, patient flow, and front desk coordination.
Manage billing processes, insurance verification, accounts receivable, and collections.
Review financial performance metrics and help guide business decisions.

Human Resources & Compliance

Recruit, train, and evaluate administrative team members.
Maintain accurate employee records and manage scheduling/time-off requests.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, state/regulatory standards.

Patient Experience & Communication

Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and patients to resolve questions, concerns, and feedback.
Promote a patient-focused environment and high service standards.

Qualifications

Required

Minimum 3+ years of dental office management or practice leadership experience (preferred).
Strong knowledge of dental billing, insurance procedures, and front-office systems.
Excellent organizational skills and leadership capabilities.
Exceptional communication skills with patients and team members.
Proficiency with dental software and standard office technologies.

Preferred

Experience with Dentrix Ascend or similar practice management software.
Proven ability to analyze KPIs and support strategic growth.
