Position Details

Full-Time, Benefited Position

Schedule

Monday: 6:30 AM – 8:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (staff meetings)
Thursday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Saturdays of the month)

Key Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms according to clinical protocols
Welcome, seat, drape, and comfort patients for treatment
Sterilize, organize, and deliver instruments for procedures
Assist the dentist during clinical procedures
Select, mix, and place dental materials as permitted by state regulations
Fabricate temporary restorations and clean/polish removable appliances
Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative care
Accurately document dental services in patient records
Maintain patient confidentiality and protect office operations
Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines
Monitor and maintain dental supply inventory
Assist Registered Dental Hygienists with accelerated hygiene during assigned shifts

What We’re Looking For

Active Washington State Dental Assistant License
2+ years of experience as a General Dental Assistant
Positive attitude with strong multitasking skills
Self-starter with leadership potential
Desire to learn, grow, and educate patients and teammates
Experience with Open Dental is a plus
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
