Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by providing exceptional patient care and assisting with various clinical procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software systems.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic is well-stocked.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Support the team in prosthodontics and general dentistry tasks as needed.

Skills

Proficient in prosthodontics and general dentistry practices.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment.
Experience with 3D scanners for dental applications is a plus.
Ability to implement aseptic techniques consistently.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 40. per week
