Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
Take X-rays as needed for diagnostic purposes.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in the management of infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient scheduling, record keeping, and treatment planning.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and techniques.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Must be X-Ray certified
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software is preferred.
Knowledge of medical coding, medical records management, and aseptic techniques.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and general dentistry practices.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39.93 - $42.14 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
