Performing prophylactic and periodontal treatment (including scaling and root planing): Removing plaque and tartar from teeth, polishing, and applying fluoride treatments. Performing scaling and root planing when indicated.
Oral health assessments: Evaluating patients' oral health, identifying potential issues, and documenting findings.
Taking intraoral and panoramic radiographs as well at CBT images
Patient education: Educating patients on oral hygiene techniques, diet, caries risk, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Treatment planning: Collaborating with dentists to develop and implement treatment plans.
Assisting with front desk duties as needed: Learning Dentrix Software to be able to schedule patients and accept payment as needed.
Documenting patient care: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and procedures.
Sterilizing instruments: Ensuring dental equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 37 per week
