Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of dental Terminology, familiarity with dental software, and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
Maintain accurate patient records, including care plans and medical histories.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage.
File and organize patient documents in compliance with privacy regulations.
Assist in managing billing inquiries and payment processing.
Support the dental team by coordinating with hygienists, dentists, and other staff as needed.

Experience

Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental clinic or healthcare setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Athenahealth, Dentrix, or Epic is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
