DENTAL HYGIENIST QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
Current and valid state dental hygiene license
Certification in dental radiography
Ability to conduct thorough dental assessments

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Patient education and guidance on proper oral hygiene practices and maintaining optimal oral health
Take and develop dental x-rays
Perform screenings for oral cancer and other dental diseases
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, as well as document clinical notes and observations
Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment
