Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. The Dental Hygienist will play a vital role in educating patients about oral health and ensuring a comfortable experience during their visits.

We work Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (7:30-2:30), Tuesday (12-6), one Friday per month (7:30-1:30).

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments for patients.
Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.
Operate medical imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes as needed.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting, preferably with knowledge of Eaglesoft software.
Familiarity with EMR systems and medical coding is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of anatomy, infection control, and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures related to patient care and assessment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
