We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during each visit. As a Dental Hygienist, you will collaborate closely with dentists and other team members to deliver exceptional patient care while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and safety.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures with precision.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Utilize dental terminology effectively when communicating with patients and team members.
Work collaboratively with the dental team in pediatric dentistry settings, adapting approaches as necessary for younger patients.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of infection control standards and procedures is essential.
Proficiency in using dental systems and software for record keeping is beneficial.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective patient interaction.
