Avenue in Simi Valley. Our focus is on providing excellent care to our patients, and we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Dental Office Manager.

About Us:

Mon - Fri; 7:00 am to 4:00 pm; Full-time (some required overtime)
Private, PPO/Cash only practice
Owner: Dr. Kosta
Staff: 1 full-time hygienist, 2 back office staff, and 2 front office staff
Smaller practice with 4 operatories
Minimal external marketing, primarily word of mouth
Excellent Accounts Receivable (AR) condition

Responsibilities:
As our Dental Office Manager, you will:

Respond efficiently to patient and doctor needs and inquiries
Ensure the delivery of quality dental care to patients
Resolve patient issues following company policies, healthcare regulations, and dental board standards
Manage patient scheduling and direct patient traffic flow
Present treatment plans and financial arrangements to patients
Oversee the processing of dental claims and coordinate with insurance companies
Manage specialist referral process
Recruit, train, and manage office staff
Determine staff schedules and ensure operational standards are met
Oversee office budget and expenses
Complete administrative functions, including payroll and invoice processing
Monitor and maintain accounts receivable
Support marketing and promotion initiatives
Ensure compliance with privacy and security regulations

Requirements:

Management or supervisory experience, preferably in healthcare
Knowledge of dental terminology, office procedures, accounting, and administrative principles
Familiarity with insurance plans and claims processing
Proficiency in Open Dental or similar software
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Office)
