Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dental Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office management, with specific experience in dental settings. This role involves supporting the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient patient flow, and maintaining accurate medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage patient scheduling and confirm appointments to optimize office efficiency.
Maintain accurate patient records using EHR -Eaglesoft.
Assist with billing and financial management, including processing payments, pre-authorizations, verifying insurance benefits, and managing insurance claims.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Provide administrative support including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence and referrals.
Oversee office supplies inventory.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
Assist in the training and supervision of new staff members as required.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology, cdt codes, excel spreadsheets and word.
Background in healthcare management or medical administrative support is a plus.
Experience with budgeting, financial management, and utilization management is beneficial.
Great at Multitasking and knowing how to balance items given to them.
Previous Dental assisting experience a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
