Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the highest standards of infection control and documentation. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices. Salary based upon experience. Work hours 7:30-4:30 Monday- Thursday

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify any concerns.
Review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with medical terminology.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control protocols throughout all procedures.
Take and record vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
Assist in the management of patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff to provide comprehensive patient care.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures.
Strong focus on patient care with excellent interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of infection control practices to ensure a safe environment for patients.
Familiarity with documentation review processes and medical terminology.
Experience in patient assessment, including taking vital signs.
Ability to perform aseptic techniques effectively during procedures.
Proficient in using Eaglesoft or similar dental management software is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
