Busy single provider general family practice in Midtown seeking a Dentrix experienced dental front desk to join our team.

We value dependability, flexibility, good communication skills, ability to follow direction and attention to detail.

Basic responsibilities include but not limited to:

Greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner

Answering phone calls and managing office communications

Utilizing Dentrix software to schedule patient appointments, enter treatment plans and patient information

Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits

Checking out appointments and processing insurance claims

Submitting pre-authorizations to insurance providers for future treatment

Collecting payments from patients

Applying incoming insurance reimbursement

General office duties such as scanning, faxing, printing, resourcing information, miscellaneous cleaning duties

Our schedule is Monday – Friday with varying hours.

We require a clean criminal background, reliable transportation and a minimum of 2 referrals of previous employers.
