We are willing to train the right person! Experience preferred but not necessary.

Job Duties include:

assisting the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures
taking dental radiographs (x-rays)
sterilizing instruments and equipment
helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after orthodontics treatment
providing patients with instructions for oral care following procedures, such as the placement of an expander, braces or laser surgery.
teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
taking impressions of patients' teeth (models of teeth)
adjusting and placing arch wires, braces, bands, expanders, retainers and other orthodontic appliances, removal of braces
maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
documenting procedures and services by charting in patient records
ensuring operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques
maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Hours vary 35-40 weekly hours depending on the schedule. MUST have full availability Monday through Friday. We unfortunately cannot accommodate part time schedules at this time.
