Job Summary
We are seeking for a skilled and dependable full time or part time Surgical Dental Assistant who can provide high–quality clinical support during procedures and assist with front desk responsibilities when needed. Responsibilities

Clinical:

Prepare treatment rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available
Assist the dentist during surgical procedures, providing chairside support
Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
Follow strict aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment
Monitor patient vital signs during surgical procedures
Provide post-operative care instructions and suture removal for patients
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care

Front Office/Receptionist:

Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage scheduling
Verify patient information and assist with administrative tasks
Support smooth daily workflow between front and back office
write updated reports regarding patients visits/treatment

Requirements

Proficient in medical imaging techniques, including x-ray development and interpretation
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dental procedures
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
Familiarity with pediatric dental procedures is a plus
Ability to perform basic medical coding tasks
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
