Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry and general dentistry. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, including examinations, dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs.
Provide preventive and restorative dental care, including cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
Perform oral surgeries as necessary and manage complications effectively.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain thorough medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure optimal patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and infection control protocols.
Demonstrate proficiency in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for patient management.

Experience

Proven experience in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable.
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques is essential.
Experience in endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication will be beneficial.
Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $91.84 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
