Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Lab Technician to join our lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in appliance fabrication, laboratory procedures, and a comprehensive understanding of dental and medical terminology. This role involves creating precise orthodontic appliances, collaborating with dental professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of quality. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on turning out high quality work in a reasonable timeframe.

Duties

Fabricate orthodontic appliances such as Hawley retainers, clear retainers/aligners, and fixed appliances (RPEs, LLAs, Nances, etc) using a variety of common laboratory tools.
Organize and manage workload to avoid missed due dates and appointments
Continuously strive to learn new techniques and methods in the lab to be able to construct new appliances

Requirements

Proven experience in orthodontic fabrication or laboratory work within a dental or orthodontic setting
Understanding of orthodontic appliances/terminology preferred
Excellent organizational skills and an ability to self-manage
Ability to work well with others and be able to stay on task without constant direction

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
