Job Posting: Experienced Orthodontic Hygienist (Part-Time)

Location: Orthodontics of the Southern Tier, Vestal, NY
Position Type: Part-Time, Monday, Tuesday, Friday (as needed)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

We are looking for an experienced Orthodontic Hygienist to join our dynamic team at Orthodontics of the Southern Tier. If you are passionate about patient care and have a strong background in orthodontics, we would love to meet you!

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of orthodontic hygiene procedures, including cleaning and polishing teeth, assisting with treatments.
Perform X-ray procedures for orthodontic patients, including panoramic, cephalometric, and intraoral radiographs.
Placing bands, attachments and assisting with wire adjustments.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and orthodontic care.
Support the orthodontist during patient exams and procedures.
Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Assist in patient management and ensure a positive, comfortable experience.

Qualifications:

Valid state license as an Orthodontic Hygienist.
Previous experience working in an orthodontic practice is required.
Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team.
Availability to work part-time on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday (as needed).
