Job Description:

We are seeking an organized, empathetic, and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As the Treatment Coordinator, you will play a key role in assisting patients with understanding their treatment plans, coordinating their care, and ensuring that all administrative tasks related to treatment are handled efficiently. You will be the bridge between the dentist, patients, and insurance providers, ensuring smooth communication and seamless patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Present treatment plans and explain options to patients in a clear and compassionate manner.
Schedule appointments and follow-up visits, ensuring efficient use of the dentist’s time.
Coordinate with insurance providers to confirm coverage, benefits, and approvals for treatments.
Provide patients with cost estimates and financial plans, including options for payment.
Manage patient records and ensure all information is accurately entered into the practice management system.
Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional environment in the office.
Support the dental team with administrative tasks and patient care as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in dental office administration or treatment coordinating is a plus.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, treatments, and insurance processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and support patients.
Ability to handle confidential information and manage patient records with integrity.
Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with dental billing and coding.
Experience with patient financial arrangements and insurance claims.
Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus.
