Overview
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of dental office procedures, proficiency in relevant software, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental clinic's calendar efficiently.
Maintain accurate patient records, updating information in Eaglesoft systems.
Verify insurance benefits/eligibility .
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and billing.
Ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming for patients.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines to protect patient information.

Skills

Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft is a MUST.
Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient files and records.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Previous experience in a dental clinic is a must.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality.
