Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using dental software such as Dentrix.
Support prosthodontic procedures by preparing materials and assisting with 3D scanning when necessary.
Provide excellent patient care by addressing questions and concerns in a compassionate manner.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control measures.

Experience
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, four-handed dentistry, aseptic techniques, medical imaging, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is highly desirable.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for providing quality dental care is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
