Job Summary
The primary role of the Clinical Manager is to prepare the clinical team for the successful execution of all scheduled procedures while ensuring the patient experience is as pleasant as possible and to set your doctor up for success. You must work effectively with doctors, coworkers, patients, vendors and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner. You must listen attentively and objectively and consider ideas and suggestions from others. You must keep your commitments, keep others informed, adhere to timetables and address key issues immediately. You must support the mission of the office and participate in all initiatives that foster the growth of the practice.

Essential Functions:

Representative of but not limited to:

Follow owner/doctor protocols for clinic and treatment coordination for all patients, while focusing on complex treatment workflows.
Perform assisting functions in accordance with the applicable Dental Auxiliaries (DA) table of permitted duties as needed.
Review and make needed improvements for all patient communications with each clinical team member; ensuring routine care is accomplished and driven by the team and systems are followed for the best patient experience.
Perform consultations for complex treatment and develop follow up systems for patient care and engagement. Schedule & document complex cases to review regularly with Dr.
Assisting chairside/clinically as needed.
Assist with documentation for high risk treatments and reviewing as well as editing routine care notes by the clinical team as needed.
Attend meetings as required by the management team.
Manage the creation and editing of note templates under Dr.’s guidance.
Review and optimize the system for ordering clinic/airway/lab supplies.
Manage on your feet daily to increase efficiency of clinic workflow.
Support and development of assistant tasks, CE and calendars/protocol.
Assist management team in preparing/updating consult materials and handouts for patients, post op forms, etc.
Training and hiring for clinic personnel.
Oversee post op care including surgery follow up by text and emergency call fielding and scheduling.
Huddle with the front office team to ensure the day's schedule is available and reviewed by Dr. prior to his meeting the patient(s).
Perform 2-week lookout with necessary team members and deliver any necessary information to the hand off personnel.
Maintain an appropriate professional appearance at all times.
Maintain strict compliance with State and Federal regulatory Agencies such as OSHA & HIPAA, ADA, company HR policies, etc.
Observe existing systems for daily functions and offer input for development and improvement.
Maintain adequate supplies in each operatory through supervision of each assistant or hygienist and monitor sterilization/turn over of rooms is performed appropriately, effectively and efficiently.
Represent Reclaim Dentistry in a positive manner at all times.

Qualifications:

Required: HS diploma or GED, specified classes as mandated by the state of Colorado for certification, licensure or registration as a dental assistant.

Knowledge/Skills/Talents/Abilities:

Ability to respond to common inquiries from patients, vendors, coworkers or referring doctors.
Skill to draw valid conclusions, apply sound judgment and make decisions under pressure.
Talent to interpret and apply/follow practice procedures.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedure manuals, safety rules and guidelines; as well as operating and maintenance instructions.
Ability to interpret instructions in verbal, written and diagram form.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
Knowledge to communicate effectively with staff, doctors and patients.

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
