Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the dental laboratory, responsible for fabricating dental models, fabricating printed models with a 3-D printer, and operating Roland Milling machines.

This position requires a strong understanding of the importance of fabricating and articulating models. and the ability to work with various materials and technologies, including CAD systems.

If you have experience in a Dental program or experience in the dental field, and desire the need to learn the dental laboratory we will train the right individual.

Duties

Read and follow doctor's prescriptions and preferences
Evaluate records, impressions, model to inspect for distortions
Pour and articulate models
Ability to cut and trim dies
Ability to scan dental models using a desktop scanner
Ability to operate a 3D printer, nest, print and process printed models
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment in accordance with industry standards.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance fabrication processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in dental fabrication or a related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices and record-keeping.
Experience with CAD software is highly desirable.
Background in dental assisting or working within a dental office setting is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in English
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Dental technician certification or associates degree
