Hi there! We are looking for a dynamic and talented Dental Assistant to professionally assist our Pediatric Dentists and Orthodontist chair side in our fast paced environment. Tooth Tales is a social practice and you too will be the "face" of the company and responsible for making a lasting impression. The ideal candidate will have a hands on Dental experience, is detail oriented, organized, and has strong interpersonal skills. Sometimes patients are in pain and/or mental stress, so having a sensitive and patient-oriented approach is very important. Our goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued during their visit. If you are self-motivated, friendly, easy going, and have a sense of humor, you just might be a great fit for this team.

Required experience:

Local candidates will be a plus!

Proven Dental Assisting experience
Thorough knowledge of customer service
Strong Communication and people skills
Good problem - solving skills
Sterilization of instruments and equipment
Taking Radiographs
Providing assistance to the office with daily operations as needed
Prepare treatment room for patient by following procedures and protocols
Prepares patient by welcoming, comforting , and seating patient
Educates patient by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions
Document dental services by charting in patient records
Entering patient treatment plans
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
maintains safe and clean working environment by complying procedures, rules and regulations
Willing to train right candidate: 1 year experience

Required education:

Diploma/ Certificate additional qualifications will be a plus!
Expanded Functions and Florida Radiography certifications
