Duties

Manage the end-to-end billing cycle, including invoice creation, review, and distribution to clients or internal departments
Oversee the reconciliation of billing discrepancies and resolve issues promptly to maintain accuracy
Collaborate with finance, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication and process alignment
Implement and improve billing procedures and controls to maximize efficiency and reduce errors
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments proactively
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all billing activities
Prepare detailed reports on billing activities, trends, and outstanding balances for senior management review
Lead and mentor the billing team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement

Requirements

Proven experience in billing management or a similar financial operations role with a strong understanding of invoicing processes
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong attention to detail coupled with analytical thinking to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently
Proficiency in billing software systems, ERP platforms, or accounting tools; familiarity with automation tools is a plus
Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with clients
Knowledge of industry regulations related to billing practices and data privacy standards
Ability to lead a team confidently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism
