Responsibilities

Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth coordination among veterinary specialists, support staff, and administrative teams to deliver outstanding patient care and client satisfaction.
Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and expense control to meet operational goals while maintaining profitability.
Supervise staff recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions to cultivate a motivated and professional team.
Utilize medical office management systems such as Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, and Dentrix to maintain accurate medical records, manage appointments, billing, and electronic health records (EHR).
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA standards for patient privacy and JCAHO accreditation requirements.
Oversee medical administrative support functions such as medical records management, medical terminology accuracy, and utilization management.
Coordinate with clinical teams on acute care protocols and critical care procedures to optimize patient outcomes.
Implement clinic policies related to managed care programs and hospital experience standards to uphold high-quality service delivery.
Lead office management activities including supply procurement, equipment maintenance, and facility safety protocols.
Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, professional development opportunities, and effective communication across departments.

Experience

Proven supervisory experience in a healthcare or veterinary setting with strong leadership skills in managing teams within a fast-paced environment.
Extensive medical office experience with proficiency in EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic; familiarity with Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Demonstrated expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation within a healthcare or veterinary practice.
Strong background in medical management practices such as HIPAA compliance, medical terminology accuracy, and medical records handling.
Experience with hospital or specialty clinic operations emphasizing acute care and critical care protocols is preferred.
Knowledge of dental office or veterinary clinic operations including dental clinic experience is advantageous.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee human resources functions like hiring, training, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
Familiarity with healthcare management standards such as JCAHO accreditation processes or utilization management practices enhances your effectiveness in this role. Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
