Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our busy and growing dental office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various dental procedures. This role is essential in providing high-quality dental services while ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to deliver comprehensive oral health care.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. We have location opportunities in Garland and Dallas

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide a range of dental services including but not limited to restorative fillings, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
Ability to see patients of all age ranges.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to infection control protocols.
Utilize Open Dental software for patient management and record keeping.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.
Collaborate with dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care delivery.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
Valid state dental license and ability to pass all necessary background checks.
Strong skills in patient care, infection control, medical documentation, and medical terminology.
Proficiency in performing root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry best practices.
