Overview
We are looking for someone friendly, dedicated and detail-oriented to join our team at our Waterford office working as a dental assistant. We are a modernized privately owned dental office that proudly serves the communities for over 38 years.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology, along with experience in assisting with various dental procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures-including fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, and dental implant placement.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for patient use.
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
Record medical documentation accurately, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on post-treatment care.

Experience

Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Understanding of medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance is required.

The job would be full time position with about 36 hours per week. Our office hours are Mondays 8-6, Tuesdays 8-6, Wednesdays 8-5, Thursdays 8-5, and Fridays 7:30-2.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
