Dental Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator

We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Dental Receptionist to join our growing practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a supportive, professional team.

Hours:

Monday & Wednesday: 8:45 AM – 7:00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 8:45 AM – 3:00 PM

Dental office experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Answer and route phone calls promptly (no voicemails left unanswered)
Greet, check in, and check out patients
Calculate and collect copays; post payments accurately
Verify insurance benefits and explain patient financial responsibilities
Handle emails, patient inquiries, and insurance communications
Enter insurance benefit details and understand copay calculations
Prepare and confidently review multi-thousand-dollar treatment plans
Build and manage productive schedules for doctors and hygienists
Maintain a smooth, organized patient flow throughout the day

Preferred Skills

Experience in dental front desk operations
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable discussing financials and treatment plans
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Confident with math, billing, and copay calculations
Professional, polished presentation
Experience with production-based scheduling and knowing how to build profitable, efficient provider schedules

About This Position

This is not an urgent hire and not a replacement.
We are adding a new team member to support a growing patient base and enhance our front desk workflow. Because this role is important to our long-term success, we are taking our time to find the best fit for our team and office culture.

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
