Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to best practices in dental health. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, including examinations, cleanings, extractions, and other dental treatments, while maintaining compliance with all health regulations and standards.
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Perform a range of dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and oral surgeries.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records for each patient visit.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education as required.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software for patient management.
- Experience in dental fabrication techniques for crowns, bridges, and dentures.
- Ability to perform dental extractions and oral surgeries with precision.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices for treating younger patients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in managing patient records and documentation.
