We were already in need of a part-time hygienist (ours relocated) when our current full-time employee had a family emergency and is on leave. We are offering FULL or PART TIME hygiene work - PICK YOUR DAY OR DAYS. We are open M-Th, 8-5, 8-5, 7-4 and 7-2. SOLO dental practice, small family practice with LOYAL patient base. No quotas or speed work required. You will see ONE patient per hour. LITERALLY DOES NOT GET ANY EASIER. Dentist has been in practice at this location over 20 years.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to perform patient assessments, assist in various dental procedures, and educate patients on oral health practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
- Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing teeth.
- Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Document patient treatments and maintain accurate records in accordance with dental office protocols.
- Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in the field of dentistry.
- Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient care systems and enhance overall clinic operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques.
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate patient records.
- A valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required.
