Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings and apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Document patient care accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient care and clinic efficiency.
Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques, including knowledge of general dentistry practices.
Strong understanding of aseptic technique to maintain infection control standards.
Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and accurately.
Familiarity with medical imaging systems used in dentistry.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their oral health.
Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
