Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained through thorough assessments and preventive care. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
- Perform oral health education for patients, explaining proper hygiene techniques and preventive care practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Open Dental software, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Monitor and manage infection control protocols within the clinic to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies through ongoing education and training.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Open Dental is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively within a team environment.
