Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care and will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry. This role involves collaborating with our team to deliver comprehensive dental services while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients.
Duties
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients' oral health.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques through continuous education.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience or familiarity with four-handed dentistry practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with Open Dental is a plus!
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
