Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing high-quality dental care and a commitment to patient comfort and satisfaction. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and ensuring compliance with all health regulations.
Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums to assess their oral health.
- Perform various dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and oral surgeries.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education.
Skills
- Proficient in four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Experience in oral surgery and dental fabrication.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures within a clinical setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a dental office environment.
- Experience or interest in pediatrics is a plus.
