We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and infection control protocols. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive oral health services.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
- Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Utilize medical imaging technology to capture diagnostic images as needed.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and patient care during appointments.
- Stay updated on current dental practices, technologies, and regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and hygiene practices.
- Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with familiarity in four-handed dentistry techniques being a plus.
- Proficient in infection control measures and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate patient records and managing appointments.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Pay: $31.93 - $33.23 per hour
