Our thriving and recently expanded practice is looking for a career-minded hygienist for this amazing opportunity. We are a full-service, patient-focused practice that prides itself in high-quality dentistry for everyday people. We provide our patients with options and amazing patient experiences.
Our Hygienists work assisted hygiene and have both a guaranteed base with a generous production bonus (that includes exams and films)! Our ideal candidate will be focused on patient connection as well as patient health and demonstrate an optimistic attitude and can-do spirit.
Responsibilities
- Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
- Sterilize dental instruments properly
- Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
- Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
- Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
- Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
- Take X-rays and intraoral pictures
- Support & promote recommended treatment
- Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
- Monitor supplies
Skills
- Experience as Dental Hygienist
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession
- Ability to prepare and maintain your dental instruments
- Outstanding communication skills
- A patient and friendly personality
- Attention to detail
- Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
- Valid license to practice Dental Hygiene
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
