Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, including restorative procedures, endodontics, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient management and record-keeping.
- Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile working environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and oral health education.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, including medical terminology and imaging techniques.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid dental license to practice in the state.
- Proficiency in general dentistry practices; experience in endodontics is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical records management and relevant software (Epic preferred).
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $190,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year
