Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented receptionist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality service to our patients. This position involves greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, receiving payments and posting insurance transactions. A strong understanding of dental practices, along with excellent interpersonal skills, is essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Scheduling appointments to maximize production.
- Effectively navigate all computer programs necessary including Patterson Eaglesoft.
- Professionally manage telephone interactions with clients.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Prepare and present quotes for dental treatment plans.
- Assist in keeping schedule on time and limit patient wait times
- Capacity to read, understand, and process insurance breakdowns and EOBs.
- Keep waiting rooms, bathrooms, and break room cleaned and stocked.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist in a dental office is preferred.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft is a plus.
- Knowledge of dental coding and maintaining accurate dental records is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification or relevant training in OSHA, HIPPA , and CPR.
