Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic by providing exceptional patient service and administrative support. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and the ability to manage various clerical tasks, including insurance verification and medical/dental records management.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
Verify patient insurance information and assist with claims processing.
Maintain accurate medical and dental records and patient files, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Utilize EAGLESOFT software for managing patient information and records.
Assist dental staff with clerical tasks as needed, including filing and documentation.
Answer phone calls professionally, addressing patient inquiries or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.

Requirements

Previous experience in a dental clinic or medical administrative support role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology is essential.
Excellent patient service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Proficient in clerical tasks, including filing and data entry.
Familiarity with insurance verification processes is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in using EAGLESOFT software is advantageous.
